movin on up! well, moving anyway.

life has been chaotic, which caused me to realize that there is so much more to life and more to me than music.

i still love music. i still enjoy researching and learning all there is to know about an artist/band/tour/album/collaboration/cover, but there are so many other things i want to share.

when i was little i wanted to be a writer. as i grew i realized that writers don't make any money. so i changed my mind. i should have REALLY changed my mind and become something other than a marketing professional. we don't make much money either. anyway in today's world of blogs and RSS feeds and the endless lines of communication i've finally recognized that i can be a writer and share my words without caring whether or not i'm published.

all of this to say i have created a new blog called OKnLA that covers so much more than music. it covers the real things that i'm dealing with now that i've exited my oklahoma safe-bubble. i'm conquering exciting things like: finding a cheap apartment in westLA, learning to live with someone for the first time, budgeting and working on credit card debt, chasing the dream job, not dying from stress and more. so follow me to the new blog and forget this one. it's so last year.
